The Golden Flower Facial
90 minutes · $150
Named for the osmanthus flower — a botanical revered in eastern healing traditions for its rare and unmistakable fragrance and its powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
This is a 90-minute treatment built around you — your skin, your nervous system, the season you are in. It begins with a conversation and ends with your skin deeply nourished, your body genuinely at rest.
Osmanthus is the aromatic signature of this treatment — unmistakably warm, ripe stone fruit and honey-sweet florals with something quietly earthy beneath that settles the whole body.
Each treatment includes a double cleanse, facial steam, and skin-appropriate exfoliation. The heart of the facial is a generous mask preparation — freshly made for your session using eastern botanicals including osmanthus flower and other thoughtfully selected, skin nourishing ingredients. These are not ingredients pulled from a jar. They are prepared for you, for this treatment, on this day.
We spend so much of our lives living in our heads. The rest of the body — often forgotten, rarely tended to — carries more than we realize. During your treatment I incorporate gentle touch points along the body as an intentional invitation to release, to soften, and to receive nourishment fully.
The Return
75 minutes · $110
For the woman who has spent years in devoted service to everything and everyone around her — and is ready to turn that devotion inward.
Midlife is not a decline. It is a turning. The outward demands that defined earlier chapters begin to recede, and what remains is something quieter and more essential — the question of who you are now, and what it feels like to tend to yourself with the same care you have always given others.
This is a 75-minute treatment designed for exactly that moment.
The aromatic signature of The Return is Woman's Transformation — a rich, balsamic blend of red mandarin, geranium, ginger, jasmine, and frankincense. Soothing, comforting, and deeply uplifting. Chosen to support you during times of stress or change, it is present throughout your treatment as an aromatic companion.
Each treatment includes a cleanse, skin-appropriate exfoliation, and a layered botanical mask preparation freshly made for your session. Gentle touch points along the body invite full release.
FAQ
-
Botanical skincare is the use of skin nourishing whole plant materials, think seaweed, aloe, clays, to soothe, strengthen, balance and support the health of the skin. The focus here is not correction, it is health. Healthy skin is resilient, luminous, and comfortable in itself.
At The Red Door Studio every whole-plant ingredient used in treatment is chosen for its complexity of compounds, antioxidants, fatty acids, minerals, aromatic molecules, and prepared by hand for what your skin needs that day.
-
Botanical mask formulas are sourced and blended by hand: seaweed, oils, clays, flower essences, and botanical extracts, prepared fresh for your treatment and chosen for what your skin needs that day. Cleansers, exfoliants, and serums are chosen with the same standard: clean ingredient lists, nothing synthetic, no harsh ingredients.

It's one of the most persistent misconceptions in skincare: that oil clogs pores and needs to be stripped away. The truth is more specific. Not all oils behave the same way, and the wrong oil, or oil left improperly removed, genuinely can cause breakouts. The right oil, chosen for your skin and applied with care, works differently: it's lipophilic, drawn to oil, so it gently breaks down dirt, debris, and congestion sitting in the pores rather than clogging them further. That's the difference between oil used carelessly and oil used with real knowledge of what your skin needs.
-
The short answer is no. Facials at The Red Door Studio are designed to loosen and release pore blockages through the oil cleansing method and facial massage rather than manual extraction (see the dropdown "Isn't oil bad for my skin?" for more on how the oil cleansing method works). Part of every session includes simple at-home protocols you can use to keep skin clear and pores free of buildup between visits.
It is worth remembering that the occasional blemish or blackhead is normal. Most skin responds well to consistent, gentle use of the oil cleansing method. For more stubborn cases, milia, blackheads across an entire area, chronic closed comedones, a fifteen minute consultation is the right place to start. I will point you in the right direction.

If you're using retinol, Retin-A, hydroquinone, or other exfoliating actives, pause them 3 to 5 days before your appointment. Arrive with a clean face if you can, and let me know about any recent skincare changes, allergies, or concerns before we begin.
-
Give your skin 24 to 48 hours before returning to retinol, exfoliants, or direct sun. Keep it simple during that window: gentle cleansing and hydration.
-
Most clients see the best results with a facial every 4 to 6 weeks, matching the skin's natural renewal cycle. The right frequency depends on your skin, your goals, and the season, we can figure out what makes sense together at your first visit.

In most cases, yes. Botanical facials use gentle, whole-plant ingredients at low concentrations, formulated with care for exactly this kind of question. If you're pregnant, let me know beforehand so your treatment can be adjusted, and check with your provider if you have any concerns.
